For your work on rugby articles, particularly the Kenyan stuff. --MacRusgail (talk) 11:24, 4 June 2010 (UTC) |
Keep it up, it's much needed. I've given PDTyrrell one for work in the same area, whrre it's much needed.--MacRusgail (talk) 11:24, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
- Good work, especially on Enterprise Cup, I need to get a copy of the book The Enterprise Cup 1930 - 2005 (seventy five years of sporting achievement)! Pdtyrrell (talk) 11:46, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks to both of you, it's nice to be recognised... I have looked about a bit and it seems appropriate that I thank you here rather than on your talk page, though I think I'll post something on your page anyway. As I said to Pdtyrrell, I'm just doing what I can here and there, I doubt that I will achieve your level of contribution. Mbwa mwitu (talk) 06:50, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
"Am I meant to do anything with it by the way, or just leave it where it is and be happy? :-) " - Well you can put it on your user page. :)
I have tried to expand rugby coverage beyond the Six Nations and SANZAR, but it's often difficult to find sources, or decent ones. Even getting information on Uruguay, China, Germany and India which despite the "emerging" tag often given to them have a very long history of rugby. Ditto Kenya, which has been coming to notice recently for its excellent sevens team - so the information was very much needed.--MacRusgail (talk) 12:18, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
DYK for Enterprise Cup
editOn June 14, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Enterprise Cup, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Flag problems
editFor some reason I seem to have missed this debate. I've pretty much been on holiday the last while (other than some minor edits) I'm a bit horrified by what has happened.
I think that some people seem too keen to delete images, because they're "unlicensed", when in fact they could be more helpful by giving the correct tags i.e. "fair use", etc.--MacRusgail (talk) 11:09, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
My comments here.--MacRusgail (talk) 11:13, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
I believe that there should be some "middle way" (to pinch a phrase from Buddhism) on this matter. I think at least some of the instances in point are covered by "fair use". I'll keep you posted.--MacRusgail (talk) 15:23, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
