Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Oscar (footballer, born 1991) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! In the infobox we always include the city and the country, so "Americana, Brazil" is correct. Mattythewhite (talk) 09:27, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jason Kapono

edit

The 2013–14 NBA transaction page is for transactions that have to do with the 2013–14 NBA season. Jason Kapono's retirement has nothing to do with with the NBA or the 2013–14 season. Having last played in the NBA in 2012, his May 28, 2014 retirement does not need to go in the 2013–14 season retirement list. There are many players who retire that have once played in the NBA, doesn't mean we add all of them to the transaction page. DaHuzyBru (talk) 09:13, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough. I have put it back it. DaHuzyBru (talk) 08:50, 31 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Username redirect

edit

I noticed some of your work on basketball-related articles. Thanks for your contributions! I was curious why you have your user talk page, User talk:李郓梁, redirect here to "User talk:Victor Li". If you were concerned with the Chinese characters in your username on English Wikipedia, Wikipedia:Username_policy#Usernames_with_non-Latin_characters recommends that you simply modify your signature. Perhaps your signature could be "李郓梁/Victor Li"? If your intention was to change your username to "Victor Li", you can make a request at Wikipedia:Changing username. As of right now, "Victor Li" is not a registered username, so anyone in the future could come and create an account and use that name. If you were trying to do something different, perhaps there is an alternative to the problem you were trying to solve with this redirect. Let me know. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 05:24, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

As you have not provided any rationale for this unconventional redirect, I have move User:Victor Li and User talk:Victor Li back to your registered name of 李郓梁. I recommend you refer to Wikipedia:Username_policy#Usernames_with_non-Latin_characters if you have an issue with the characters of your username on English Wikipedia. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 06:20, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Miroslav Raduljica

edit

Raduljica still had the night of January 28 left on his contract, but the Timberwolves released him in favor of Lorenzo Brown. Per this, "In a related transaction, the Timberwolves released center Miroslav Raduljica from his 10-day contract." DaHuzyBru (talk) 07:03, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Jones and Williams

edit

Stop with vandalism on page Dominique Jones and Marcus Williams or you will be reported and blocked... or explaine here or i will have no choice to report you. And when you are adding unexplained edits you must ADD SOURCE. Also per Eurobasket.com Williams played for Heilongjiang in 2015.--Bozalegenda (talk) 17:59, 21 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ok but per Eurobasket.com Williams played for Heilongjiang in 2015...so im pretty confused about this. And for Jones - leagues are not welcome in infobox, all clubs have their own articles and every league is already mentioned in text.--Bozalegenda (talk) 12:50, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ok, there is mistake at Eurobasket, so we will left your version. But for Jones do not add leagues in infobox.--Bozalegenda (talk) 15:41, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Gani Lawal

edit

Regarding "Slam Dunk leader" at Gani Lawal, what do you mean by that? What exactly is slam dunk leader? Does the CBA have an official award for most slam dunks in a season? Because if it's not an officially recognised award, it is not notable enough to be in the awards section. "Most slam dunks in a season" isn't a highlight that needs to be listed in the infobox. DaHuzyBru (talk) 16:38, 9 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Bagumba: The "Slam Dunk leader" is CBA officially recognised award, Like rebounding leader, Assisting leader. Different from All stars Slam Dunk. These two both CBA officially recognised award.Longxiaozi (talk) 09:37, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:18, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Igors Miglinieks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
