Draft on the Banat Swabian dialect

edit

Thank you very much for your very accurate contribution to the draft that I started on the Banat Swabian dialect. I am very grateful for your contribution. Vielen dank dafür. You are more than welcome to help expand the respective draft and please also review the other changes that I made while importing data from the corresponding page on the German Wikipedia in the meantime. I will also add a considerable number of references that I found on the internet in the meantime so as for the article to be successfully published as soon as possible.

On another note, I can read German to a higher level (and understand it as well), but when it comes to writing and speaking the language I do not speak it as good as I speak English for example (more specifically near-native level). If you're interested, I also created and edited a brand new article on the Transylvanian Landler dialect. I have also contributed significantly in the past to most subjects pertaining to the German minority in Romania with whom I lived and whom I respect a lot. All the best! Alles Gute! --Rosenborg BK Fan (talk) 07:39, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Hey this is IlovetheATSF, noticed you edited my Chicago and Indiana page, thanks for providing updated information, there’s not a ton about the CINR. Do you happen to know the models of locomotives CINR leased from SPEG and N&W? Thanks again. IlovetheATSF (talk) 01:41, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi IlovetheATSF, SPEG provided their only ALCO S4, #653, former PLE 8646. Here is a picture of it in Huntington (on CINR rails).
N&W provided a GP7. While N&W had a few of those, the machine leased to CINR appears to have been the same from July 1 to late August: #3477 (ex Wabash).
Eagan, Jr., John T. (2016). Erie Western in Color. Morning Sun Books. p. 103–109. ISBN 1582485534. includes photos of both machines. GeorgR (de) (talk) 08:56, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I figured out SPEG leased #653 from just a few quick searches, thanks for the N&W info, couldn’t find anything about it. IlovetheATSF (talk) 19:00, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Jaguar Transport Holdings moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Jaguar Transport Holdings, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 15:08, 19 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
