BethNaught (talk) 10:03, 20 May 2014 (UTC)This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Draft:Anne Hall, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.internetantiquegazette.com/paintings/2001_hall_ann_american_artist/.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Draft:Ann Hall - Citation templates.
editHi Lisa,
I just noticed you managed to move Draft:Ann Hall to its new title - well done! Don't worry about not finding that option; after a while you get used to using the Mediawiki software that powers Wikipedia, but it is pretty much a maze for everyone who first tries to use it.
Now, i didn't just decide to drop by for some idle chatter. I had a look at the Draft:Ann Hall article, and i noticed you are using a lot of book references which is great. One thing i equally note is that you add them between barebone <ref></ref> tags. There is nothing wrong with that, but i am guessing that after the 5th or so reference formatting them becomes tiresome and tedious. There is actually a more convenient way to cite a book or a webpage. If you edit the Draft:Ann Hall article (or any other page) you should see the word "Cite" to the right in the edit menu. If you click that button a menu should appear, with on the left side a dropdown stating "Templates". Click that one and select "Cite book" from the list. You will now see a popup that can be filled in with the reference details.
Now here is the handy trick. You can fill in the ISBN field and press the looking glass after it to have the template auto-fill itself with all the known book details. For example, the "American Women Artists: From the Early Indian Times to the Present" you cited had ISBN "9780816185351". Just fill that in and press the looking glass and presto, you got a filled in citation. All you need to do is add the page number, click the calendar icon next to "Access Date" and add a "Ref Name" (A name that identifies a specific reference).
It is also possible to use the same trick using a Google Books URL, though this only works if you use the Monobook skin for Wikipedia. Under the Monobook skin the option exists to paste a Google books URL, followed by a click on an icon that fetches the books data. It works wonders for books that are availible on Google Books yet lack an ISBN number. (To explain: Monobook used to be the default layout for Wikipedia until 2010. After that it was replaced by the "Vector" skin, the layout you currently see. While Monobook is less fancy, reader friendly and feels a tad outdated it is still in very common use due to people being used to it and due to it supporting a few features not available in the new skin).
Well, that is a whole lot of chatter from me i suppose. To give an example of the result i took the liberty to change the first two references on your draft into citations. I hope that trick proves to be useful! Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 23:45, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
