License tagging for File:Lawless heart.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Lawless heart.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Love & Diane, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/love_and_diane.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Nomination of Romántico (film) for deletion
editA discussion has begun about whether the article Romántico (film), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Romántico (film) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. User:Whenaxis 20:42, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
DYK for Houston Film Critics Society Awards 2010
editOn 20 December 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Houston Film Critics Society Awards 2010, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Jonah Hex was named "Worst Picture" of 2010 by the Houston Film Critics Society at their 2010 awards ceremony? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Hello Dubdip, I just thought I'd let you know that I saw your article National Society of Film Critics Awards 1977 in the New Articles list-- However, I noticed there are some holes that may need filling: the article does not contain in-line citations, and so doesn't follow Wikipedia style guidelines. It's always nice to see users contributing to make Wikipedia better! Jipinghe (talk) 18:42, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
editHi. In Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards 2000, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Stillwater (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Andrew Haigh
editHi, just a quick note about the Andrew Haigh article you created. There are no problems with notabilty for me, but unfortunately you created the article without offering sources - an IMDB entry by itself is not enough. The problem there is that articles about living people must be accompanied by at least one reliable source or they can be nominated for deletion. In this case, I added a few - although the article really does need more - but, to be blunt about it, a lot of the people who encounter sourceless BLP articles at Newpages either don't have (or won't) take the time to add sources and they are entitled to nominate them for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for December 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited St. Louis Gateway Film Critics Association Awards 2012, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Headhunters (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, Dubdip, and thank you for your contributions!
I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Screenplay, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Toronto Film Critics Association Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:
- a link to the article you copied from
- the date you copied it
You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.
If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.
Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 17:13, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- If in future you want to move a page to a new title, please use the move tool rather than copying and pasting the content. Copying and pasting destroys the edit history, which we need to keep for legal reasons. Hut 8.5 12:06, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Toronto Film Critics Association Awards by year
edit- Hi. The association's website and common usage in reliable sources suggest that the year should be at the head of the list name, i.e. 2012 Toronto Film Critics Association Awards and not Toronto Film Critics Association Awards 2012. Any objection to us renaming? Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:46, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

The article Chlotrudis Award for Best Screenplay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Award given by an obscure local club, which club's article was just deleted for non-notability through AfD. No evidence of sources referring specifically to the subject of *this* article which meet the GNG's requirements. Orphaned article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ravenswing 06:07, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
