About
editLongtime user, but new to the contributor aspect of Wikipedia.
I am 28 years old and from South Carolina. I'm married with one son.
I specialize in obscure NFL football facts and statistics. People always tell me how crazy it is that i can remember specific stats/moments from any random game in the past 20 years, so I like to add those to the appropriate pages whenever I can. I am a longtime Pittsburgh Steelers fan and always will be.
I am guilty of once vandalising Wikipedia. Before i started editing, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the New England Patriots one Sunday night. I was so hyped about the victory that I went to Tom Brady's page and wrote that "his daddy is Ben Roethlisberger". What can I say, live and learn.....
I'm a firm believer in the second amendment and it not being infringed upon. Everyone's got an opinion about it. I'll respect yours and always engage in a friendly debate about it whenever you're up for it.
I feel like Wikipedia is a fantastic source for all kinds of information, especially sports pages for people like myself. More to come!
- Side note: While I'm learning more about Wikipedia's rules every day, I have definitely yet to master them all. So if I make a mental error here and there, just be patient with me. I'll get there eventually!
Projects
editI'm currently overhauling the entire page, one piece at a time. I was reading it and saw that it was very poorly written, missing citations throughout the whole article, including very arbitrary and unsubstantiated records, etc.
My Goals
editMy goals here are to:
. Contribute for the people who use Wikipedia everyday and help erase the stigma that it is an unreliable website. I think everyone can agree that it was, once upon a time, but the times are-a-changing.
