extreme rules 2009
editok the thing here is that the main event for extreme rules 2009 is wrong. i had changed it so it would be correct but then someone changed it back. the main event for extreme rules 2009 was edge and jeff hardy in a ladder match, not jeff hardy and cm punk. cm punk did come out afterword and cashed in his money in the bank, but that was not the scheduled main event. the ladder match was the scheduled main event 24.12.115.173 (talk) 17:13, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Edge/Hardy was not the main event (and you can't say it was the scheduled main event because WWE rarely ever announced what the main event will be ahead of time. The main event was Hardy/Punk. The match wasn't announced ahead of time, but that doesn't make a difference. TJ Spyke 17:17, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
2nd Annual Extreme Rules
editJust thought I'd pop in and point out that the newest issue of WWE Magazine states that the 2010 edition of Extreme Rules will be the "Second Annual Extreme Rules" bringing into question whether it is, in fact, the same event as One Night Stand. Enjoy. :) Wwehurricane1 (talk) 00:24, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
WWE.com officially states that this is the 2nd Annual Extreme Rules, and it technically doesn't follow the lineage of One Night Stand. With this quote, "At last year's inaugural Extreme Rules pay-per-view..." the 2009 Pay Per View (herein, PPV) was the first event, and this 2010 PPV is the 2nd. If you click this link, it will take you to the history of the Extreme Rules PPV as WWE deems it, and it only takes you to the 2009 version of this PPV. The only way to even get to the One Night Stand chronological list on WWE.com is by searching the WWE.com website as there are no links within any other area of the website itself. 24.184.216.113 (talk) 05:33, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

editJust Chiming In Here
editThere is a video on Youtube where John Cena announces bin Laden's death to the crowd. I thought of adding this, but if there is a specific article for the 2011 edition, it would be good to tack this at the end of the show summary. CycloneGU (talk) 14:14, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- Evidently, I'm slow. It's there already. CycloneGU (talk) 14:15, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Extreme Rules 2012
editI'm pretty darn sure it's about time to create an Extreme Rules 2012 page. But I won't jump the gun. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.9.253.197 (talk) 23:31, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

WWE Extreme Rules → Extreme Rules (2012) – This article is not about the edition of 2012. Please revert to correct version. 187.91.10.253 (talk) 01:39, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
- Already been fixed so this can be closed.--174.93.169.157 (talk) 01:25, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

The title of the next event is Extreme Rules (2012) and not WWE Extreme Rules 2012. This user ignored the protection and created other page with different title. 177.119.114.109 (talk) 06:02, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
- So what to change? it's a redirect... and don't post at two pages the same request! mabdul 08:07, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
- I think what the original poster was talking about was related to the fact that this page was breifely rewritten as an article about the 2012 event. That has since been corrected so there is nothing else that needs to be done.--174.93.169.157 (talk) 01:24, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
