NCs?
editI'm pretty sure Tulsa has not won two national championships in men's basketball (having written the Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball article). Does anyone know what sport that's actually supposed to be? matt91486 (talk) 20:49, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, they have. But, not NCAA. NIT. This is even on their website.↔NMajdan•talk 21:49, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, an NIT championship is a national championship. -steventity (talk) 01:18, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's terribly misleading to call NIT championships as national championships. National championships generally refer to the NCAA tournament. For the sake of general clarification, it's better to just say NIT championships, because it will be misinterpreted. Regardless of the NIT being technically correct as a national championship, we all know it's not really. matt91486 (talk) 06:14, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Split Football section?
editShould the football section be split into its own article, like has been done for the men's basketball team? Cardsplayer4life (talk) 22:01, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes. Most other universities have a separate article for football that stand on their own. It would be nice to see tables and charts with recent records, regular season and in-conference performance, bowl games, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.193.232.67 (talk) 18:49, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Go ahead and split it. It seems as if none of the editors would be bothered by that. Heck, maybe I'll just do 'er Madmaxmarchhare (talk) 19:30, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Totally Agree
editI think that winning programs should have a separate section for their football program. Tables for stats would be nice considering that Tulsa has put up ridiculous stats the past few years.
