It's against the rules to write about an event that hasn't happened yet.
editThe New Mexico Bowl is in the future. Must have already taken place to be considered for Wikipedia. Mattisse 00:43, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- Not true. The event is on the schedule, and there is a lot of verifiable information on it. —C.Fred (talk) 15:07, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Sponsor
editI removed the entry "Many" from the "Sponsors" Infobox field as it refers to title sponsors (which you can see by looking at Sugar Bowl, New Orleans Bowl, etc.) Many bowls have various non-title sponsors, so this is nothing special. And since to my knowledge, the New Mexico Bowl has no title sponsor, I have said so. I recall reading somewhere at some time that the New Mexico Bureau of Tourism has some contract to keep the name "New Mexico Bowl", which could qualify as title sponsorship, but I couldn't find such an article anywhere so I am quite probably mistaken in thinking that. If anyone has also heard this and can find a source, please add it. Smartyllama (talk) 19:24, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
