The contentious topics procedure applies to this page. This page is related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, which has been designated as a contentious topic. This article should adhere to the gender identity guideline because it contains material about one or more non-binary people. Precedence should be given to self-designation as reported in the most up-to-date reliable sources, anywhere in article space, even when it doesn't match what's most common in reliable sources. Any person whose gender might be questioned should be referred to by the pronouns, possessive adjectives, and gendered nouns (for example "man/woman", "waiter/waitress", "chairman/chairwoman") that reflect that person's latest expressed gender self-identification. Many, but not all, non-binary people go by singular they pronouns, which are acceptable for use in articles. This applies in references to any phase of that person's life, unless the subject has indicated a preference otherwise. Former, pre-transition names may only be included if the person was notable while using the name; outside of the main biographical article, such names should only appear once, in a footnote or parentheses. If material violating this guideline is repeatedly inserted, or if there are other related issues, please report the issue to the LGBTQ+ WikiProject, or, in the case of living people, to the BLP noticeboard. |

Age

- Source? Funcrunch (talk) 03:08, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- No, it isn't. Public records searchable on Ancestry.com show a birthdate of May 2nd, 1990. Trowbridge (talk) 19:12, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- A reference to an article in People magazine was added after my earlier reply, indicating that Kearney was 30 years old in February 2023. This would be considered a reliable source. With the previously sourced birthdate of May 2, the 1992 birth year appears to be correct. Funcrunch (talk) 19:31, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
Biological Sex
editWhat is this person's biological sex? It's not mentioned anywhere in the article. Paranoid666 (talk) 22:21, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
- Kearney is non-binary; their assigned sex at birth (not "biological sex") is irrelevant. Funcrunch (talk) 23:33, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
- Their assigned sex at birth is their biological sex. It's relevant because every other Wikipedia article lists the subjects biological sex. Paranoid666 (talk) 21:44, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Female, I would guess. 116.240.236.234 (talk) 09:25, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
