Neutrality Tag

edit

Public perception of the Bennett family's corruption contributed to the fall of the Duvalier regime in 1986. This is well established and sourced in this article. According to the Wikipedia guidelines for article neutrality: "Assert facts, including facts about opinions—but do not assert the opinions themselves." The guidelines also explain that, "In attributing competing views, it is necessary to ensure that the attribution adequately reflects the relative levels of support for those views, and that it does not give a false impression of parity."

It does not appear that the Controversy section violates these guidelines. I believe the tag, apparently added by Kintetsubuffalo on January 13, 2010, should be removed.Thoughts?Flyte35 (talk) 06:42, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I support the removal mainly because the neutrality tag concerns were not posted on the talk page to explain what they were. The editor with the neutrality concerns is certainly welcome to post those concerns here so they may be addressed properly without guessing. Veriss (talk) 08:40, 25 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Noticed that the article still has a few neutrality problems. To start, it looks like a lot of material on Michele Bennett's page covers her husband's regime, and seems unencyclopedic. Going through and cleaning up some of the edits now. Feelingspecial (talk) 18:37, 21 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
