Liwa Thuwar al-Raqqa → Jabhat Thuwar al-Raqqa – new name after incorporation of Tel Abyad area locals. Old name is abandoned and there's currently doesn't seem to be enough material for separate articles. -- PanchoS (talk) 11:49, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Support. Looks like they've began to frequently use their new name, plus their website and Twitter account uses this name. Editor abcdef (talk) 05:35, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

Infobox: Part of SDF *and* part of FSA
editThe infobox currently has this group as part of the SDF and part of the FSA. This seems very unlikely. Batternut (talk) 09:58, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- What's unlikely? The group is part of the SDF and before that the FSA, and still identifies as part of the FSA. As the Free Syrian Army article stated the FSA is an umbrella organization so groups in the FSA could be part of another coalition, for example the SDF. Editor abcdef (talk) 10:03, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Unlikely because of recent/ongoing fighting between SDF and FSA near Afrin and Manbij. Batternut (talk) 10:41, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
- Jabhat Thuwar al-Raqqa was not involved in the infighting between near Afrin and Manbij. And once again, the FSA is an umbrella group and there were even cases of infighting between FSA factions, for example between the Army of Revolutionaries and the Hawar Kilis Operations Room and before that the Mare' Operations Room.
