Talk:History of gay men in the United States

Wyoming

edit

This article asserts that by 1960, an anti-sodomy law was on the books in every state (a referenced assertion). Yet, in the LGBT rights in Wyoming article, it stands that Wyoming is the only state that never enacted sodomy as a "crime". Which factoid is correct?- Gilliam (talk) 09:32, 26 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

The titling is overbalanced at best, the content shouldn't be split into decades, and I'm running out of words to describe the current revision of this article. --George Ho (talk) 07:57, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Articles should not be split unless needed, per WP:Split; I see no need for a split in this case. Flyer22 (talk) 11:19, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I wasn't saying split. I should have said that there are too many sections. --George Ho (talk) 21:48, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in History of gay men in the United States

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of History of gay men in the United States's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 04:47, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
