I added this President's info and specifics to expand this article. I note the academic achievements of the president and his missions.

School hymn

edit

I've been removing persistent additions of the lyrics of a school hymn to this page, because that is content that is not suitable to an encyclopedia. It borders on boosterism too. Rmcsamson (talk) 16:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Seems a good chunk of the content on this page isn't written in an encyclopedic tone; note that articles such as Yale University or Massachusetts Institute of Technology do not include song lyrics nor exhaustive lists of student organizations or offered degrees (see WP:NOT#DIRECTORY). As mentioned in #Edit request, below, several of these sections seem to be accompanied by excessive use of non-free images for apparently cosmetic purposes. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:22, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've trimmed about 10kb of text and some non-free images, today. Remember that Wikipedia is not a directory or travel guide; some parts of this article sounded as if they'd have been right at home in a brochure. – Luna Santin (talk) 02:16, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{editprotected}} Please add the maintenance tag {{non-free|article}} to the top of this page due to excessive use of copyrighted logos. Kelly hi! 01:53, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Given the current state, I might rather just develop consensus as to which images (or perhaps entire sections) should go. The current article looks rather campy. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merging sub-articles back in

edit

Please see discussion at WikiProject University. Most universities do not merit a separate article for every college. The exception is where they have a federal structure. And the articles on the AdU colleges did not carry any significant information. If there happened to be significant independent material on one of the colleges that is when a sub-article could be re-created. Thanks. Itsmejudith (talk) 10:08, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Removal of excessive detail

edit

I reverted recent edits that added detail of every degree course offered. This is not the university's prospectus. Please see the university article structure guidelines in WP:UNI. Thank you. Itsmejudith (talk) 17:18, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
