A number of steam locomotives in the railfan community are commonly known by their road numbers. For example, Southern Pacific 4449 is sometimes referred to simply as 4449, and Union Pacific 844 is sometimes referred to as 844. I'm tempted to add a See also section on this article for the Union Pacific locomotive, but wanted to make sure about its appropriateness for disambiguation before being bold and adding it myself. Perhaps a disambig style link at the top of the page that looks like {{otheruses}}? Thoughts? slambo16:33, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
