Fake Episodes section
editI have removed the Episodes section since they were all fake. For one they were not sourced - try to find them anywhere else on the web (you can't). Two, the information in that section has been changing daily. Three, think to yourself do you really believe that Fox would put spoilers such as who is a mole and who dies in their official episode synopsis? Use common sense. This is obviously fake and the editors of this page need to do a better job of protecting against such vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.242.160.17 (talk) 08:06, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Automate archiving?
editDoes anyone object to me setting up automatic archiving for this page using MiszaBot? Unless otherwise agreed, I would set it to archive threads that have been inactive for 30 days.--Oneiros (talk) 12:42, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Thumb it is
editI have reviewed episode 4 carefully, and it is clear that only the thumb was cut off to allow the bracelet to be slipped off the hand. The hand is still attached to the body, but a bloody thumb is shown on the floor. Racepacket (talk) 08:52, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
- Interesting, I have yet to understand how one could remove a bracelet with just a thumb off, but I'm not going to try. TheWeakWilled (T * G) 23:04, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Kiefer "not returning"
editPLease stop adding the info to the article. What keeps on being re-added is far from NPOV, and not what the source (which didn't even a WP:RS) says. It's just business talks, Kiefer doesn't hate the show or Fox, AFAIK, so let's not put it in the article. TheWeakWilled (T * G) 23:07, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
(Oleg/Josef)'s gold cross.
editFYI
I recently edited the plot summary for episode 8 to reflect on the symbolism of the gold cross that was left behind (Josef's disapproval of his father's solution to Oleg's condition). I have absolutely no sources to cite this, but I feel that I at least made a half-assed attempt to give further insight to Josef's character. I mean, technically, it IS ("possession IS 9/10...") Josef's gold cross. Yet, it obviously came from Oleg and, in Josef's mind, has sentimental value. Personally, I'd re-write some of the episode summaries, but I didn't want to do too much unwarranted damage to the page. I just wanted to clarify a minor detail.98.206.248.166 (talk) 04:47, 23 February 2010 (UTC)UknowWho
Episodes
edit- Moved from article - clean it up before it goes back. It doesnt need to be a life story. Steven Zhang The clock is ticking.... 09:34, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- Meh, these sorts of summaries are better than just teaser summaries we have all over Wikipedia. We should be explaining the plot concisely, not advertising for FOX. Sceptre (talk) 18:56, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if there is strict Wikepedia policy regarding the length of plot summaries for television shows or if its just a matter of a difference of opinion as to what the length should be. In my opinion, given that each episode is 1 hour in length, the plot length is actually shorter than that of most 2 hour movies listed in wikipedia if measured on a plot length per hour basis.Juve2000 (talk) 20:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- We suggest summaries be less than ten seconds per minute: in this case, under 420 words. As 24 is a arc-heavy show, I'd be much more comfortable, as a reader, with a 150 word summary of the episode's contents than a 20 word teaser. Sceptre (talk) 19:19, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Time of Day for start and finish
editThe article currently says the season begins and ends at 4 pm. I am fairly certain this is incorrect. I just watched the latest episode which ended at 8 am an the promo for next week is being described as "the final hours." Is next week a two hour show? Is it the final show of the season? I don't know. Can someone provide a reliable source on this question? RonCram (talk) 05:27, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- The season started at 4pm, so obviously it will end at 4pm. Since this is the final season, Fox is promoting it as such, calling the rest of the season "The Final Hours". Drovethrughosts (talk) 13:13, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- Why would you assume that "Final Hours" means any specific number (in your case "two")? Hours is simply a plural word and could possibly mean anything in the broad category of "several". Mamarazzi (talk) 08:20, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Year 2016?
editIf this show is supposed to take place in the year 2016, why are there no new (2016 model) cars? There are usually quite a few cars to be seen in most of the episodes, yet none of them are newer than 2010 models. Mamarazzi (talk) 08:20, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
- Because although a certain amount of time passes between each season, the show takes place in the "perpetual now." Specific dates and years have always been avoided so the show never really dates itself.--137.148.216.242 (talk) 21:09, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Eastern Promises
editI'm surprised nobody noticed this season's episodes with the Russian mob are a shameless ripoff of Cronenberg's Eastern Promises. The Russian kingpin owning a restaurant, the knife in the eye... How possible ???? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.66.204.133 (talk) 16:34, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
