Nowe Kotkowice [ˈnɔvɛ kɔtkɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Neu Kuttendorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in southtern Poland[1], close to the Czech border. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Głogówek, 25 km (16 mi) east of Prudnik, and 33 km (21 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
