Mohammed Sanan (born 5 April 2004)[1] is an Indian footballer who plays as a winger for the Indian Super League club Jamshedpur FC.

Sanan was born in Malappuram.[2]

Career

Reliance Foundation Young Champs

Sanan's journey started with Reliance Foundation Young champs in 2016 at age of 12, where he spent seven years. He represented the club at 2022 Reliance Foundation Development League where he made six appearances and provided assist for opening goal against Mumbai City B.[3] He again represented the club at 2023 Reliance Foundation Development League where scored four goals in fourteen appearances as RFYC topped their regional and national group but finished fourth overall which sealed their qualification spot for Next Gen Cup.[4] He gained some incredible exposure during his time at RFYC, including an opportunity to represent the team against English Premier League oppositions like Wolves and Everton at the Reliance Foundation Premier League Next Gen Cup.[5]

Jamshedpur FC

On 3 August 2023, He penned a three-year deal with Jamshedpur FC.[6] 5 days later, he made his debut in a 5-0 loss to Mumbai City FC at 2023 Durand Cup where he played the full first half.[7] On 25 September, Sanan made his Indian Super League debut coming in as a substitute in a goalless draw against East Bengal.[8] On 1 November, he made his first league start against Mohun Bagan Super Giant and scored his first goal with a sensational long-range shot in an eventual 3-2 loss.[9]
