Kapanga alta is a species of Hahniidae spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1970 by Ray Forster from a female specimen.[1] The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.000003.[2]
Description
editThe female is recorded at 2.25mm in length. The carapace is pale brown with markings dorsally. The abdomen is pale brown with faint markings dorsally.[1]

editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[3]
