OK, I am looking at these subcategories and am somewhat at a loss as to how exactly they are supposed to work. Are we categorizing by modern country divisions regardless of whether the historical divisions are different? How are the people "from somewhere" being defined—born there? grew up there? lived there for a long time (if so, how long)? lived there for any length of time? visited and made a significant contribution? And so on and so forth. I would appreciate being pointed out to where this all is explained in greater detail.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); July 22, 2011; 19:14 (UTC)
Basic principles of classification? I wonder how many have been explained in adequate detail.
