Kiln is a powerful staking platform that can be used to enable staking and access to decentralized finance (DeFi) from your product. With Kiln, you or your clients can easily stake crypto assets, either manually or programmatically.
At Kiln, we understand the importance of a smooth integration process. Follow our project timeline to successfully incorporate Kiln's staking and DeFi capabilities into your platform.
Kiln's team is here to help with :
Onboarding & Kick-Off meeting.
Recurring catch-up to plan together your integration.
A technical kick-off meeting with your engineering team.
Marketing, Legal, and Support material & best practice.
Phase 1: Setup (1-2 days)
Activate your Kiln account on Kiln's Dashboard.
Familiarize yourself with Kiln's documentation, integration guides, and code samples.
Phase 2: Planning and Design (1-2 weeks)
Finalize decisions outlined in the planning considerations in consultation with impacted teams & working with Kiln's support team.
Identify the specific use cases and features you want to integrate (e.g., programmatic native staking, DeFi access, 32ETH staking, staking pools, or liquid staking token creation).
Define what the integration looks like; What is the deposit and withdraw flow and how does it fit with your existing products? You will find examples in this user documentation for each use-case.
Define success metrics for your integration (e.g., share of assets stake on my platform).
Determine the integration approach: Kiln Widget, Kiln API and SDK, or Kiln Smart Contracts.
Phase 3: Build (2-4 weeks & optional)
Build your frontend integration using Kiln's prebuilt UI components or create a customized earn flow in your platform.
Build your server-side integration to securely conduct staking and DeFi operations.
Integrate Kiln's reporting and reconciliation pipeline to centralize data on stakes, rewards, and operations.
Phase 4: Training (1-2 days)
Conduct team-specific training and create playbooks for the product you integrated, covering areas such as:
Staking operations and DeFi management in your product.
Customer support, User documentation and Marketing Kick-Off.
Phase 5: Testing and Go-Live (1 week)
Test your integration end-to-end in test and live environments using Kiln's testing tools and resources.
Make sure you measure user engagement and that your success metrics are covered by your team or by Kiln's Dashboard.
Go live with your integration, enabling your users to access staking and DeFi services seamlessly.
Roll out your user engagement campaigns to drive the first user deposits in your new product.
By following this project timeline and addressing the key considerations, you can ensure a smooth and successful integration of Kiln's staking and DeFi capabilities into your platform, providing your users with a seamless and secure experience.
