Abstract

On behalf of the ACM CCS 2022 Organizing Committee, we welcome you to the 28th ACM SIGSAC Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS). ACM CCS continues to be the premier security conference, where researchers, practitioners, and educators come together to present, learn, and debate research, innovation, and trends in the field of Computer and Communications Security.

This is the first time ACM CCS is held in Southern California, in the United States. In particular, we selected Los Angeles, the second largest US city, making it convenient for international and domestic travelers to visit. As COVID-19 is still with us, we have decided to run CCS 2022 as a hybrid conference. While attendees are able to travel and mingle with fellow researchers in person, our virtual participants will still enjoy the conference and communicate with other attendees via our online platform.

This year's main conference is one of the largest with 218 paper presentations over three days. We are also honored to have four distinguished keynote speakers for the main conference: Dr. Patrick McDaniel (University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA), Dr. Shafi Goldwasser (Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing, USA), Dr. Michelle Mazurek (University of Maryland, USA), and Dr. Srini Devadas (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA). In addition, twelve workshops and two tutorials will take place on the pre-conference and post-conference days to discuss numerous specialized topics.
