Research on wind power consumption electricity price model considering demand side

Published: 03 August 2024 Publication History

Abstract

The peak-valley time-of-use electricity pricing strategy serves as a robust approach to optimize the power load curve, thereby effectively guaranteeing the stability and cost-efficiency of the power system. This article develops a pricing model for peak-valley time-of-use electricity that takes into account the electricity price response from the demand side. This approach not onlythens the stability of the power system but also encourages the consumption of new energy electricity. Concurrently considering the electricity prices from both the generation and demand sides is advantageous for reducing peak loads and filling valleys on the electricity load curve, and it allows for a more accurate reflection of costs through electricity pricing.
