A Revised Adaptive Method to Reduce Synchronization Time and Improve Synchronizability

Published: 23 August 2012 Publication History

Abstract

Considering the heterogeneity of degree distribution in scale-free networks, we propose a revised adaptive method where the dynamic change of coupling strength is determined by not only the local states difference between the connected node and its neighbors, but also the degree of this node. By this method, the synchronization time of scale free network is decreased and the synchronizability is enhanced compared with the adaptive method of Zhou and Kurths.
