1.簡介
最近看 CPU 介紹網頁的時候,無意中發現了這套轉檔用的實戰測試軟體
x264 HD Benchmark http://www.techarp.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=520
它以 MPEG-2 1080p 影片檔,轉成 x264 格式所需的時間,來測試 CPU 的轉檔效能
對 HD 影片轉檔者來說,這樣的實戰測試,可能比其它跑分軟體多了一點實質意義
2.載點與安裝
目前最新版是 5.0.1 版 官網載點

它是免安裝版,不過需先安裝 AviSynth 2.5.8 才能跑,AviSynth 官網載點

安裝完 AviSynth 之後,解壓縮 RAR 檔到任意資料夾
3.測試之前
為了測試的準確性
a. Core i7/i5, Xeon 要先進 BIOS 關掉 Intel Turbo Mode
b. AMD 有 Turbo Core 功能的,一樣進 BIOS 關掉
c. 工作列、系統匣所有可以關的程式通通關掉
d. 先關掉螢幕保護 (桌面 右鍵 內容) 及
幾分鐘後關閉螢幕的選項 (控制台 電源)
e. 測試時電腦不要作其它事,如果 CPU 不夠力,會跑超久 (可參考下面數據)

4.實際測試
執行內含的 Run Benchmark.vbs 就可以開始測試了

隨便輸入一個名字,如 9x333
如果是 x64 OS,程式會問你要跑 32-bit 還是 64-bit,隨便選一個跑
(據說 64-bit 跑的比較快?)
測試過程中會轉檔四次,每次兩個 pass,總共八個 pass
跑完測試,按 enter 結束,程式會自動產生並打開一個報告檔案 (純文字檔)

跑測試並不需要符合日常操作情形,也不是要讓你心酸
重點而是要一個穩定、有高解讀性的數據,可以知道一顆 CPU 在某個固定頻率下的效能
像 Intel Core i7 3770K 平常跑 3.5G,turbo 之後跑 3.9G
官網論壇有沒關 turbo 的測試數據,跑出 72.73 / 15.33 的成績
因為 turbo 沒關,沒人知道 72.73 是 3770k 運作在頻率多少之下跑出來的數字
一般要作測試的話,都會固定跑定頻 3.5G 或 3.9G,避免不必要的因素干擾
官網的說法:
Important - If you are using an Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processor (or their
Xeon brethren), please be sure to turn off Intel Turbo Mode in the BIOS for
accurate results! Similarly, if you are using an AMD processor that supports
Turbo Core, please disable that as well. Otherwise, please inform us that
your results are based on a CPU using Turbo Mode or Turbo Cache.
要開 turbo 來測當然也沒啥問題,註明一下你的數據是在 turbo 模式下測試的就好
