[edit]

Hi Ellywa, thank you for processing Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Verleihung Art Cologne Preis 2016. I have prepared blurred revision of all 4 images. Taiwan museum

[edit]

@Ellywa: That's a great idea. I already upload some of them from different sources (you can check my uploads), some were duplicates of already existing images, but still, there are some that will be great additions to wikimedia. So if you can, restore them, I will try to categorize them and associate them with already exisiting wikidata items.--Nous (talk) 10:19, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the coat of arms from the disputed article, because the use of this non-official COA was original research. Now the file is no longer in use. Many other coats of arms of this kind (invented from a club in Woltersdorf for self-promotion ore something like that) have already been deleted. Few are left, but all are out of scope. This one should still be deleted, too. GerritR (talk) 12:44, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GerritR: , Thanks, let us wait a little while, I will reopen the DR of File:Woltersdorf-Gut & Springeberg.png. Ellywa Ellywa (talk) 13:10, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Museumsinsel subway station in Berlin

[edit]

Hello! I have a question regarding a somewhat older deletion decision on your part. It's about the Museumsninsel subway station in Berlin. There I suggested the images be deleted due to the lack of freedom of panorama; Pictures showing the blue ceiling, a work of art by the architect Max Dudler. In October last year you decided to delete the images. This was consistent because, at the same time, images that clearly showed a work of art were deleted in many German subway stations. Unfortunately, as is often the case, new images are uploaded later, often without any malicious intent. Nevertheless, you have to check such categories from time to time. This was also the case with the subway station, which received new pictures in 2024; Images that once again clearly showed the blue ceiling. There you decided against deletion. I can't understand what's different about these pictures than the pictures that have already been deleted. Could you please explain this to me. Thanks! Lukas Beck (talk) 11:16, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @L. Beck, can you show me the links to the deletion request pages please? Then I will look at those images and reasons. Thanks, Ellywa (talk) 16:18, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/Files_in_Category:U-Bahnhof_Museumsinsel. Thanks Lukas Beck (talk) 19:15, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks L. Beck, you are completely right, these images indeed are not different from the first deleted batch. I overlooked the earlier discussion and revised my decision. Ellywa (talk) 07:39, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your time. Kind regards Lukas Beck (talk) 09:09, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
