You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Kurdish

I noticed while looking at your images that Kurdish text displays right to left, though written in Latin as usual for the language, and that the system for Kurdish seems messed up. Hi,

I came across this picture while uploading many pictures I took at Hasankeyf. I like it for a picture, but doubt if it has anything to do with Hasankeyf (old or new). But I cannot find "Êlih-Hafizbiniyan", though I think I understand the Êlih to be a Kurdish name for Batman. Could you inform me where was the spot where you took the picture? As I will be leaving for Istanbul in two days and there will be without a computer it may take a while before I can do anything with an answer, which would be appreciated, though. Its more likely to be somewhere in Gercüş District south of Hasankeyf, as "Hafizbiniyan" is another name for the Habezbenî tribe. Here you can see a list of Habezbenî settlements [1]. Semsûrî (talk) 11:25, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
