Meta categories
[edit]Hello, Микола Василечко. I saw that you created some meta categories, including Category:Synods by country, without including the sort criterion parameter. Revert
[edit]I had a feeling you'd revert that. Maybe it's because you don't speak English as a native language but "categories of X by color" doesn't make grammatical sense because it insinuates the categories are different colors. Given that they are the subject of the name of the category. Really the whole thing of creating categories called "categories of" doesn't make sense for the same reason. Although it's a particular problem in this case. Category names are suppose to make sense and not be ambagious. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't revert me. I don't really feel like getting into an edit war over it just because you don't understand how English grammar works and can't be bothered to listen. Thanks. - I'll probably get rid of the first one at some point. The second second one is fine because it doesn't start with or have the word "categories" in it. I'm not sure what the analog for the second one would be with colors, but that's along the lines of what I would go with instead of "categories of X by color." Like maybe "Colors in X by subject" or "location X by color" and then "location X by color by subject" for somewhere to put the sub-categories if you don't think they belong in the main one. Colors of (or in) X sounds kind of weird though. Although it would still be better then a category containing the word "categories." --Adamant1 (talk) 22:25, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
