English: Washington House at 16+18 High Street in Belfast, was built in 1888–1889, and probably designed by the Belfast architect William John Gilliland (1855–1929) for Francis Curley. It is one of the few surviving 19th-century buildings of High Street. Originally, it was topped with a decorative upper layer with urns. The ground floor was wrecked to give way for modern shop fronts.
