Chippenham Lodge at 51 Browns Road, St Albans, Christchurch, was built in 1862. Prominent owners include John Thomas Peacock, John Evans Brown and Sir Hugh Acland (1874–1956). The building is registered with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category II heritage building, registration number 1846.
