Frequently Asked Questions About Working for Weekley

How do I know that you have received my application?

After you click Submit on the application page, you will see a notification that your submission went through successfully. You will also receive an automatic confirmation email.

When should I expect to hear back from David Weekley Homes regarding an interview or the status of my application?

Due to the large number of resumes received, we cannot provide status updates. We are unable to provide a particular time frame for when you may be contacted as there are many factors that will determine when a hiring manager will schedule interviews. If you’ve applied for a position labeled “Future Opportunities”, you may not be contacted until a position becomes open.

Can I call and talk to someone about my resume/application/status/candidacy?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide updates due to the high volume of resumes that we receive. We do not give out any information of the hiring team at this stage. If you wish to make any comments or share any additional details about your candidacy, please do so in the Notes/comments section of your application.

Can you give me more information about a particular position?

Most of the information you need is in the job description and you can also visit Explore Opportunities to learn more about various positions within our company.

Will I hear from David Weekley Homes if I am not selected for an interview?

Beyond the automatic response, we will not contact candidates if they are not selected for an interview.

Who should I address my cover letter to?

You do not need to address your cover letter to any specific Team Member at David Weekley Homes unless the job description explicitly says to do so. You may use “To whom it may concern” or something similar in your letter. The content of the letter is what matters, not the salutation.
