Order Your Flag: Flag Order Form

If you would like to order a U.S. flag from our office, please use this flag order form to calculate the price and shipping costs.

Flags are available in different sizes and fabrics. All flag purchases include a dedication message, which may be customized for the recipient. You may choose to have your new flag flown over the U.S. Capitol for an additional charge. Flags flown over the Capitol include a certificate, which may be personalized for a particular person, event, or organization.

You may pay via credit card or via bank account (ACH). If you choose to purchase via credit card or bank account, the form will redirect you to Pay.gov to complete your order. If you choose to pay via check, the order form will create a printable order form for you to print and send to our office with your check. To confirm receipt of your check to our office in Washington, D.C., please give us a call at (202) 225-5744 if you have not heard from us in 10 business days (two weeks). 

Your flag will not be sent until our office has received the payment, which can take up to two weeks if submitting a check via mail.

Care of the Flag

Most outdoor flags can be washed in mild detergent and thoroughly rinsed. Indoor and parade flags should be dry-cleaned. Damaged flags can be repaired and used as long as the overall dimensions are not noticeably altered. American Legion Posts and local governments often have facilities to dispose of unserviceable flags. Store your flag in a clean, well ventilated area.
