Steps to reproduce:

Opened history from kebab menu on Firefox Mobile, typed partial URL. Long pressed to select multiple history items.

Actual results:

Long press acts the same as short press, taking you to the URL associated with the history item.

Expected results:

Long press should work as it does when the history is not filtered, allowing multiple selections which can then be deleted together, say.

This is an expected behaviour since the search results was not designed to be long pressed. However, this seems like a very good functionality to have. I've updated this issue to enhancement.

Search results should work exactly the same of "plain" history.
