The programme aims to provide assessments that allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the learning outcomes by producing outputs that reflect real-world scenarios in cancer research. These scenarios would, for example, include: poster presentations scientific reports grant applications clinical trial assessments peer review communicating to lay/patient audiences presentation to pharma in a dragon style den scenario. Each course will consist of 40% online assessment and 60% written assessment. Assessed discussion boards will be used to encourage interaction between students, to help develop the community. They will also be used as a means for students to engage with course organisers and tutors. Reflective E-diaries will be used, initially, to monitor student wellbeing and engagement with course materials. This article was published on 2024-08-05
