🔎 HERITAGE HIGHLIGHT 🔎 Gordon Stephenson, one of WA’s most influential architects and planners, arrived in Perth from Liverpool in 1953 🛬 Together with J.A. Hepburn, he created a visionary plan for the future of development in Perth and Fremantle! In recognition of his legacy, the new State Government office building at 140 William Street was named Gordon Stephenson House in 2011 🌟

🔎 HERITAGE HIGHLIGHT 🔎 Completed in 1889 and originally known as the Central Government Offices, the State Buildings on St Georges Terrace once housed the General Post Office and served as the State Treasury Building 🏤 FJM Property Director Adrian Fini’s vision to revitalise the structure led to a restoration project, completed in 2015 🔨 The building won the 2016 WA Heritage Awards' Gerry Gauntlett Award for Conservation and Adaptive Reuse, showcasing its successful blend of historic preservation and modern adaptation 🏆

✨ Yagan Square is set to transform into a fairytale wonderland for the 2024 Telethon Family Festival! ✨ This Sunday 20 October, Yagan Square will be filled with magic and enchanting activities including potion making, treasure hunts, and even a Cinderella silent disco 🏰 This is the third year of the magical event, celebrating community spirit and supporting vulnerable children across WA!

Our Lands team has helped with the transformation of unused holiday houses into homes for vulnerable individuals and families in Albany 🏡 A change of land use has allowed five accommodation units to be created via the Albany In-Reach Supported Accommodation Service, helping those in need in the Great Southern region🤝
