🚨 Breaking News! 🚨 WPO World Packaging Organisation is excited to announce a significant step forward its strategic plan to diversify its products and services to the global packaging community. Thanks to the incredible support from its Vice President Education, Kofi Essuman , and the Marketing Team, WPO is launching a series of online short-term paid courses! The first edition will take place on December 3rd. It will be a 3-hours live online course, exploring the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). This course is specifically designed for brand owners, packaging manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, freight companies; academia and professionals in Packaging, Design, Development and Production; national regulatory institutions involved in environment, production and distribution of goods; and e-commerce operators, recycling companies, consumers and consumer associations. It will be delivered by Lina Maria Wimmer , a Senior Consultant at Circular Analytics and Charlotte Neumair , a seasoned expert in packaging sustainability and circularity. WPO activities in Sweden! WPO World Packaging Organisation Vice President Governance, Magnus Sidling, and General Secretary, Johannes Bergmair, represented the Organization in a series of events for the ocasion of SCANPACK - Svenska Mässan exhibition and the ScanStar - packaging competition ceremony. The 25 winners of the Nordic packaging competition are eligible to WorldStar Awards, the global packaging competition organized by WPO. Johannes also made a presentation about Global Packaging Trends and had the chance of recording a podcast during the show. The 2024 edition of Scanpack gathered more than 400 exhibitors and celebrated the 60th anniversary of the show. WPO World Packaging Organisation was very well represented at the 40th anniversary celebrations of UCIMA, in Italy, by its Global Ambassador, Chakravarthi AVPS. During the Gala Dinner, Chakravarthi interacted with the management team of UCIMA, including the President, Riccardo Cavanna and the General Director, Gian Paolo Crasta.
