Arkansas alum Ackera Nugent set a pair of meet records while winning the 100m hurdles at the Silesia Diamond League held Sunday in front of a sellout crowd of 42,300-plus fans.

In the first Diamond League meet since the conclusion of the Paris Olympics, Razorback Wayne Pinnock had his lead in the long jump snatched away by double Olympic champion Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece on the final leap of the competition.

On the final evening of athletics at Stade de France, four gold medals and a bronze medal were collected by Razorbacks and members of the Fayetteville pro group in 4 x 400m relay action.

Arkansas alum Jaydon Hibbert placed fourth in the triple jump final at Stade de France on Friday evening, missing the bronze medal position by an inch, while Razorback sprinter Amber Anning sped to a British national record of 49.29 seconds in placing fifth in the 400m final on a wet track surface.

In Friday’s morning session, Arkansas alum Ackera Nugent was the lone Jamaican hurdler to reach the final and did so based on time with a third-place effort of 12.44 (-0.7 wind) in the third and final semifinal heat at Stade de France.

Arkansas alum Nikki Hiltz advanced to Saturday’s 1,500m final as gold and silver medals were claimed by a pair of athletes who train in Fayetteville on Thursday at Stade de France as Tara Davis-Woodhall won the long jump and Anna Cockrell finished second in the 400m hurdles.

A sixth place finish in the men’s 400m final for Arkansas alum Chris Bailey highlighted track action for the Razorbacks at the Stade de France on Wednesday evening.

A pair of Arkansas alums – Jamaicans Janeek Brown and Ackera Nugent – cruised through the prelims of the 100m hurdles along with Cindy Sember of Great Britain during the Wednesday morning session at Stade de France.

Arkansas alum Nikki Hiltz started off the day inside Stade de France advancing to the 1,500m semifinal during the morning session while Tara Davis-Woodhall earned an automatic qualification to the long jump final with a leap of 22 feet, 7.75 inches (6.90).
