system unresponsive and the e-mail inbox window does not refresh after overlayed with another window
After I login to AOL Desktop gold the AOL system is hanging and unresponsive for about 30 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Also when I click on read e-mail the AOL desktop system becomes unresponsive again and hangs for about 30 seconds before email displays. It does not appear the e-mail has been refreshed. ALso when I open an email to view the contents and then close the email, the email inbox listing screen contents is wiped and not refreshed automatically after it is overlayed with another window. Please change Desktop Gold so that I can clear All my browsing history including anything from AOL
I believe in the "If its not broke...do not fix it" so my idea is for your engineering techs to take it back to what it was so that when I want to clear my browsing history everything goes away. I delete it by going to Settings then Privacy and then clear footprints and it ask for me to clear foot prints now. 4th rankedThe items you are seeing are actually being populated from your favorite places items. We received a lot of feedback from users that wanted to see the URL bar suggest items from users favorite places when they were typing.
That said, we understand the confusion of being able to see items in your browser URL drop down list after you have cleared your browser history, so we are making steps to correct this in a future release so that after you clear your browser history, you will no longer see any items in the URL drop down list.

AOL Calendar
I use a monthly calendar and the contrast for the current date/events makes it difficult ti find the current day quickly. Why not choose a color/technique which instantly brings the eye to the current date?

Why is AOL so unresponsive?
Why is AOL so unresponsive? I have no problems with other programs. Even typing this took me over 10 minutes because of so much lag. I can actually click on an email and walk away to do something else, and when I get back it's still not fully loaded. Tell me why I'm paying so much money for AOL Gold? Every time there is an update with Windows this happens. You folks need to pick up your game and update Gold immediately!!
