Kusuba Kouzou was an anime director and screenwriter from Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, Japan.
He joined Tokyo Movie in 1971. He then moved to Nippon Animation, where he became one of the main figures behind the World Masterpiece Theater series. In 2004 Kusuba went freelance.
