Seven years have passed since Iori Sei won the 7th Gunpla Battle Championship World Tournament. The Gunpla Battle Championship is now run by Yajima Trading. With new rules and battle modes, the game's popularity has become even more widespread.
However, the Seiho Academy that Iori Sei once attended has failed to catch onto the trend. The only member of the school's Gunpla Battle Club is its president, middle-schooler Hoshino Fumina. Currently there is no way the club can participate in the middle an high-school division of the upcoming All-Japan Gunpla Battle Championship, where players fight in teams of three.
Then Fumina meets a new transfer student. He is Kamiki Sekai, a young martial artist who has been traveling with his master. Together with a young Gunpla builder named Kousaka Yuuma, they finally have three members for their team.

Very weakly executed anime this time. Took the same formula from Gundam Build Fighters and re-applied it here. The previous series is already simple enough and this story line is even simpler and more predictable.

Once again, we're treated with another Gundam series where its aim is to promote the GunPla industry. Sadly, only 4 characters make a return, 3 as a regular, and 1 as a one-time appearance. The rest are new and original cast. Again, cameos will be shown in various places, or references thereof. And those wanting absolute confirmation, the answer is at the final episode, despite being continuously implied. If you've seen or liked at least one Gundam series (one that isn't Build Fighters or related), then this series is recommended. Highly recommended for GunPla fans in general.
