     Gillian Leonora Strutt was born on 11 June 1918.2 She was the daughter of Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt and Amelie Devas.1,2 She married, firstly, Rt. Hon. Sir Harold Anthony Nutting, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Harold Stanmore Nutting, 2nd Bt. and Enid Hester Nina Homan-Mulock, on 6 August 1941.2 She and Rt. Hon. Sir Harold Anthony Nutting, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1959.2 She married, secondly, Brigadier Oliver George Brooke, son of Lt.-Col. George Frank Brooke and Theodora Olivia Jackson, on 22 July 1961.1 She died on 18 November 2007 at age 89.3
     From 6 August 1941, her married name became Nutting. From 22 July 1961, her married name became Brooke. She lived in 2003 at The Manor House, Great Cheverell, Devizes, Wiltshire, England.2

Sir Harold Anthony Nutting, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 January 1920.2 He was the son of Sir Harold Stanmore Nutting, 2nd Bt. and Enid Hester Nina Homan-Mulock.2,3 He married, firstly, Gillian Leonora Strutt, daughter of Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt and Amelie Devas, on 6 August 1941.2 He and Gillian Leonora Strutt were divorced in 1959.2 He married, secondly, Anne Gunning Parker, daughter of Arnold Barthrop Parker, on 27 May 1961.2 He married Margarita Sanchez, daughter of Carlos Sanchez, in 1991.2 He died on 24 February 1999 at age 79.2

     Sir Harold Stanmore Nutting, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 August 1882. He was the son of Sir John Gardiner Nutting, 1st Bt. and Mary Stansmore Bevis.1 He married Enid Hester Nina Homan-Mulock, daughter of Francis Berry Homan-Mulock, on 6 August 1913.2 He died on 1 May 1972 at age 89.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of Australia between 1911 and 1913.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 17th Lancers.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nutting, of St. Helen's, co. Dublin [U.K., 1903] on 18 February 1918.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1929.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire in 1931.2

     Brigadier Oliver George Brooke was born on 4 July 1911 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Frank Brooke and Theodora Olivia Jackson.1 He married Gillian Leonora Strutt, daughter of Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt and Amelie Devas, on 22 July 1961.1 He died on 11 June 1987 at age 75 at Devizes, Wiltshire, England.2
     He was educated at Wrekin SchoolG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Welch Regiment.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1958.1 He was Colonel Commandant of the Somaliland Scouts.1

Sir Harold Anthony Nutting, 3rd Bt. and Gillian Leonora Strutt.1 She married Martin Guy Stephenson, son of Augustus William Stephenson and Maria Gloria Congreve, on 20 April 1966.1 She and Martin Guy Stephenson were divorced in 1970.1
     From 20 April 1966, her married name became Stephenson.1
