     Major Rodney Archibald Douglas-Pennant was born on 8 February 1913.¹ He was the son of Archibald Douglas-Pennant and Isabel Gwendoline Fraser.² He married, firstly, Rosemary June Munroe, daughter of John Wilfred Munroe and Nancy Anderson, on 29 March 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Nydia Brailey, daughter of Arthur Robertson Brailey, on 7 August 1947.¹ He married, thirdly, Olivia Joan Wedderburn, daughter of Alexander Henry Melvill Wedderburn and Cynthia Margaret Lubbock, in 1985.¹ He died on 21 December 1993 at age 80.^3,1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.¹

     Rosemary June Munroe was the daughter of John Wilfred Munroe and Nancy Anderson. She married, firstly, William Frederick Delap before 29 March 1945.¹ She married, secondly, Major Rodney Archibald Douglas-Pennant, son of Archibald Douglas-Pennant and Isabel Gwendoline Fraser, on 29 March 1945.¹ She died on 13 June 1946.¹
     From before 29 March 1945, her married name became Delap.¹ From 29 March 1945, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.¹

     John Wilfred Munroe married Nancy Anderson, daughter of Duncan Anderson, before 1919.¹ He died before August 1919.

     Agnes Nydia Brailey also went by the nick-name of Nancye.² From 7 August 1947, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.²
