     Major Rodney Archibald Douglas-Pennant was born on 8 February 1913.1 He was the son of Archibald Douglas-Pennant and Isabel Gwendoline Fraser.2 He married, firstly, Rosemary June Munroe, daughter of John Wilfred Munroe and Nancy Anderson, on 29 March 1945.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Nydia Brailey, daughter of Arthur Robertson Brailey, on 7 August 1947.1 He married, thirdly, Olivia Joan Wedderburn, daughter of Alexander Henry Melvill Wedderburn and Cynthia Margaret Lubbock, in 1985.1 He died on 21 December 1993 at age 80.3,1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1
