     Vice-Admiral Oswald Peploe Tudor was born on 4 March 1844.2 He was the son of Captain John Tudor.1 He married Marian Blanche Trevor-Roper, daughter of Richard Trevor-Roper and Marian Rigby, on 16 June 1874.1 He died on 5 August 1908 at age 64.1
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.
