Roger Wake was born on 19 September 1918 at Paddington, London, England.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Hereward Wake, 13th Bt. and Margaret Winifred Benson.1 He married, firstly, Olwen Mary Wynne-Finch, daughter of Colonel John Charles Wynne-Finch and Alice Mary Sybil Glyn, on 22 July 1944.1 He and Olwen Mary Wynne-Finch were divorced in 1969.1 He married, secondly, Belinda Joan Crossley, daughter of Charles Patrick Crossley, in 1984.3 He died on 23 May 1988 at age 69 at Lochmaddy, Hebrides, Scotland.1,4
