Rosemary Jean Balfour was born on 21 June 1910.1 She is the daughter of Patrick Balfour, 2nd Baron Kinross and Caroline Elsie Johnstone-Douglas.1 She married, firstly, Alec Maskell Mitchell, son of Colonel Alexander Mitchell and Meta Mary Graham Paton, on 12 October 1934.1 She and Alec Maskell Mitchell were divorced in 1958.1 She married, secondly, Robert Monteath McLaren, son of James Alexander McLaren, on 23 June 1958.1
     From 12 October 1934, her married name became Mitchell. From 23 June 1958, her married name became McLaren.

Rosemary Jean Balfour, daughter of Patrick Balfour, 2nd Baron Kinross and Caroline Elsie Johnstone-Douglas, on 12 October 1934.3 He and Hon. Rosemary Jean Balfour were divorced in 1958.3 He married, secondly, Irene MacSweeny, daughter of John MacSweeny, on 5 May 1958.2 He died on 6 September 1964 at age 59.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2

     Sir Harold Paton Mitchell, 1st Bt. was born on 21 May 1900.1 He was the son of Colonel Alexander Mitchell and Meta Mary Graham Paton.2 He married Mary Pringle, daughter of William Pringle of Whytbank, on 17 November 1947.3,2 He died on 8 April 1983 at age 82.4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1925 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He wrote the book Downhill Skiing, published 1930.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Brentford and Chsiwick between October 1931 and June 1945.1 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the HQ Staff, AA Command.1 He wrote the book Into Peace, published 1945.1 He was created 1st Baronet Mitchell, of Tulliallan, co.
