Hon. Anne Rachel Pearl Douglas-Scott-Montagu was born on 4 October 1921.2 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. John Walter Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 2nd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Alice Pearl Crake.2 She married, firstly, Major Howel Joseph Moore-Gwyn, son of Major Joseph Gwyn Moore-Gwyn, on 2 March 1946.2 She married, secondly, Sir Edward John Chichester, 11th Bt., son of Sir Edward George Chichester, 10th Bt. and Phyllis Dorothy Compton, on 23 September 1950.1 She died on 1 February 2015 at age 93.3
From 2 March 1946, her married name became Moore-Gwyn. From 23 September 1950, her married name became Chichester. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1968.1
