Joseph Hind was born in 1825 at Ireland.1 He was the son of John Hind.1 He married Anna Eliza Pennefather, daughter of John Pennefather and Ellen Dickson, on 6 November 1850 at Singapore, Bengal, India.1 He died on 8 August 1886 at Mylor, Cornwall, England.1
