Major Sir Alan Lubbock was born on 13 January 1897.1 He was the son of Frederic Lubbock and Catherine Gurney.1 He married Helen Mary Bonham-Carter, daughter of John Bonham-Carter, on 20 April 1918.1 He died on 17 March 1990 at age 93 at Petersfield, Hampshire, England.1,2
