     James Alexander Gordon is the son of James Gordon.2 He married Elizabeth Catherine Brandreth, daughter of Thomas Shaw Brandreth and Harriet Byrom, in 1851.1 He died in 1872.1
     He lived at Burford Bridge, Box Hill, Surrey, England.1

     James Edward Henry Gordon was the son of James Alexander Gordon and Elizabeth Catherine Brandreth.2 He married Alice Mary Brandreth, daughter of Edward Lyall Brandreth and Louisa Marriott.1 He died on 3 February 1893.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 4th Light Dragoons.1 He lived at St.Osyth Priory, Essex, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     James Loch was born on 7 May 1780 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He is the son of George Loch and Mary Adam.3 He married, firstly, Ann Orr, daughter of Patrick Orr, in 1810.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Pearson, daughter of John Pearson, on 2 December 1847.3 He died on 28 June 1855 at age 75 at Albemarle Street, London, England.2
     He lived at Drymen, Stirlingshire, Scotland, Drylaw.1 He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1801.2 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 15 November 1806 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He was auditor of various Scottish estates, where he helped oversee various clearances, including Sutherlandshire during 1811-1820.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for St. Germans between June 1827 and 1830.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Wick Burghs between 1830 and 1852.2
