Ambrose Christian Congreve was born on 4 April 1907.1 He was the son of Major John Congreve and Lady Helena Blanche Irene Ponsonby.2 He married Margaret Cholson Glasgow, daughter of Arthur Graham Glasgow, in 1935.1 He died on 24 May 2011 at age 104.3
